24 September | Three Incredible Things

I saw this evening:

1. A fairly normal-looking middle aged couple at McDonalds (yes I went. and yes it was gross. whatever.), surrounded by several small stuffed animals arrayed very carefully on their table, including a camel and a bear wrapped in a tiny blanket. They kept pretending to feed them french fries and let them drink from the straws.

2. A man sitting across from me on the Tube, defiantly and intently picking his nose with not one, but two fingers, and then eating it. Did not feel it necessary to try to hide it. No shame in his game.

3. An ad in the Kings Cross station for ear reshaping surgery for men.
